How can I get copies of all my past bills so I can file bankruptcy?

I used to have copies of all of my medical bills that have gone to collections, utility bills, and all my other bills so that I could file bankruptcy. There are so many companies that I owe money to and I lost all of my copies of the bills in a flood last year. Is there a number I can call to find out who all I owe money to?

  1. Collection agencies send bills to the address you where living at the time of the bill. I'd get my mail from my old address redirected at the post office to my new address. Collection agencies normally reduce the amount that the bill is over time. I wouldn't file for bankrupsy it stays on your credit rating you will find it hard to get a home loan or any loan, it even goes against you in some jobs, also travelling internationally, filing for bankrupsy will follow you around for the rest of your life. Try calling up some of the companies you remember keep a list pay the bills off on a payment plan. I can't remember the number but there is one to check your credit rating.
