Any suggestions on guidelines on how to file a civil complaint regarding a property line dispute?
We have been going back and forth with our neighbor for over 4 years to keep her off our property, and have her driveway cut so it is not on the property. We are planning on having our lawn redone, but don't want to do it until this issue is resolved. We've had it surveyed, and things like that. She is at fault, and refuses to stop coming on our property. Any suggestions on guidelines on how to file a civil complaint regarding a property line dispute?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

- Install a fence!!
- Have you ever tried to negotiate a peaceful settlement? It sounds like it has been little more than a hostile confrontation.
- Have your property surveyed, then you'll have post put in the ground to divide your property from theirs. My neighbors on 1 side use my yard because it is so big and as long as they take care of it , who cares, But, the surveyors put two steel small post in the ground showing my property and they know that I don't care if the use it just as long as they agree that is my land , not there's. We get along great if I ever needed it they know it belongs to me. There is six houses across my street but on my side just two and 1 with very little space, so who cares, I don't. I just have 3 large lots and they have one small lot.
- Get the property lines resurveyed by the plat lines noted on your deed at the Register of Deeds Office usually or Tax Assessors Office. Hope this helps..
